The River Otter
The thatched farmhouse at the heart of the brewery dates back to 1806 and the water used in production of the beers is drawn directly from the headsprings of the River Otter.

What was a derelict farm is now home to a thriving brewery employing local people, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and one that is able to recycle its own waste water. The aim has always been to produce commercially viable beers that are full of integrity, provenance, real character and that are produced in an environmentally friendly way.
