This month we are profiling Tarka 4, one of our mo This month we are profiling Tarka 4, one of our most popular lagers. Tarka Four makes a refreshing change to its international competitors on bars across the South West and beyond. As the name might suggest, Tarka Four is lower in alcohol than Tarka Pure, 4% compared to 4.8%. This makes it a fine ‘session’ lager designed for drinking several pints, whilst chatting with friends in the pub.

Much of our barley is grown on Dartmoor and the ho Much of our barley is grown on Dartmoor and the hops are sourced from the classic hop growing regions of the UK (Kent and Herefordshire). Our spring water comes from within the hill on which we sit and we harvest our own special yeast from each brew.
