Allow the yeast to settle for minimum of 6 hours, preferably overnight before dispensing. Keep at 12°C with a wet towel over it. Drink within 3-5 days and remember to close the top stopper between ‘sessions’.

Pups are delivered direct to your door by courier. They leave here on Monday – Thursday.

Otter Ale has never been outside of my personal ‘top five’ beers (the others being of similar strength and style).
I was delighted with latest my Otter Ale pup. The prompt dispatch and delivery went without a hitch, and the beer quickly arrived fresh and ready for a couple of days settling in the cool on a stone floor, well ventilated, and in the shade. Not easy to get right in a heatwave. I lightly chilled it for a hour before serving for that ideal ‘cellar’ temperature, resulting in a fresh pint that was served in perfect condition. My sole disappointment on the night was that I had only bought 8 pints of the good stuff, and had to share it! (I have since ordered another pup without hesitation, and will likely slash the guest list next time).
