Description
3.6% ABV. Fruit notes and well balanced malty flavours are tinged with a hint of bitterness.
An Otter Pup is a 5 litre mini cask filled straight from our fermenting vessels. This means that it will dispense approx 8 proper pints, but you will need to let it sit for a while to allow the yeast to settle out (preferably overnight). Once you have opened your pup please drink within 3-5 days and remember to close the top stopper between ‘sessions’.
Remember to look after your Pup – its ideal temperature is 12 degrees Centigrade, but a wet towel over it will help.
Pups are delivered direct to your door by courier. They leave here on Monday – Thursday.
Customers comments:
“We had 70 guests at our 60th wedding celebration party and found the Otter pups so easy to use on the drinks tables and the contents, of course, ‘went down’ very well. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks very much for delivering them to the door”
“Great session bitter. A nice clean drinking taste, and easy to like. I served mine slightly chilled, but not too much that it masked flavour, as this one has plenty. The last two pints out did benefit from some ‘pepping up’ with a bottle of the same – to make a very acceptable light and bitter. This also extended the session, which was no bad thing. Thank you for the usual fast dispatch and reliable delivery.”
“One of my husbands favourites so he is still enjoying his Father’s Day gift, fantastic delivery as always”
“This is the second time I have requested a delivery to Kent of an Otter Bitter pup. It was delivered promptly, without any problems whatsoever. The recipient was delighted!”
“The best way to enjoy these excellent Otter beers on draught when you happen to live on the other side of the country. Dispatch and delivery was slick and efficient, as usual, and the beer arrived fresh, and ready to drink when allowed two days to settle. If you order early in the week for the following weekend, this does work with the perfect cool storage conditions. When the keg is empty, it gets another life in horticultural use. I bash the top open, drill a drainage hole (or you could just open the tap, I guess) and grow tomatoes and peppers in them. A new concept of an indoor beer garden!”
“Beer up to its usual high standards. Ordered Monday morning delivered Tuesday. Amazing.”
“our favourite draught bitter and ale 11 out of 10 for delivery!”
“A superb beer coupled with first class service and prompt delivery. Could you ask for more!”
“Much better experience than bottles, a great bit of foam on the pint that nicely stuck to my glass. Loved the pouring experience too. Will order again.”
“I like the old fashioned malty and bitter flavour”
“As a real ale drinker for the past 40 years, I can honestly say that this is one of the most pleasant tasting bitters I have ever had. The Staff at the Brewery have been excellent in sorting my orders out and to think that I can order this beer in 9 pint “Pups” from Devon one day and they arrive in Norfolk the next is just great. Easy to store and use instructions. Well Done “OTTER Brewery”.”
“Great way to get the authentic flavour of fresh pints of draught Otter Bitter – one of my favourite beers!”
“This is the best beer that I have ever tasted and now in my seventies, I have tasted quite a few! Add to this a first class delivery service backed by friendly staff and I will not be going elsewhere!”
“Excellent quality – superb value for money! Otter is putting other breweries to shame”
“We purchased the bitter and the bright for a party and it was very popular all gone by 9pm and at 3-4 pounds a pint very good value and delivered the next day will buy again.”
“A lovely, light, well hopped pint with a malty presence – perfect session bitter; my son and I thoroughly enjoyed it!”
