Core Beer (Keg)
Otter Pale Ale
With hoppy highs and malty depths it’s a nod to the American craft beer movement that really took off in the early 2000’s with the classic double-hopped IPAs
Otter Pale Ale Flavour Profile
Otter Pale Ale is brewed using the famous American El Doardo, Amarillo and Calypso hops and our head brewer (Keith Bennett) has payed homage to these hops so when they meet the alcohol and malt, they meet in harmony – this delivers a balanced beer that drinkers of American Pales will come back for more. OPA is pale gold in colour and not overly carbonated to suit its style.

Brewer’s Word
Half-empty glasses of craft beers left on bars is a bug bare of ours – beers are designed for drinking no matter how challenging the taste and aroma. The exploration of American pales has sometimes left my tongue feeling as though it’s been dragged across a belt sander! We’ve created an OPA to stand up for a session and be ready for another shout at the bar. Over the last 10 years this catagory has come to terms with the need for more palatable styles. OPA is a great alternative if you’re looking for a change from cask with an American influence.
